Skip designs financial strategies for individuals, families, and small business owners, helping them organize their financial positions and clarifying their financial goals. His individual and family clients generally seek more financial clarity and direction to help ensure their interests are protected today and to help them get on a path to achieve financial independence.
Business owner clients often need assistance reviewing the effectiveness of corporate and personal retirement plans, buy-sell agreement assistance, and to know which executive-type financial strategies may be available.
Skip graduated with a degree in finance from the University of Alabama. He received All-American honors as a pitcher/closer on the baseball team and was drafted by the Chicago Cubs in the 3rd round of the MLB Draft. After retiring from baseball in 2000 he brought his energy and attention to detail to the financial services industry, serving as Aspire's office administrator. Skip's responsibilities included client investment, insurance, and financial planning support as well as office operations. He began building his own financial practice shortly thereafter through Aspire.
Skip enjoys coaching his daughter's basketball and softball teams as playing a round of golf in his spare time.
